Quinto emozionante spettacolo degli U2 a Las Vegas
Eccoci arrivati all’8 ottobre, siamo alla seconda settimana e alla quinta data della residency degli U2 “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere”.
Dopo le sorprese della scorsa serata con le new entry in setlist di I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, Pride (In The Name Of Love) e di una abbozzata MLK, ci sarà questa sera spazio per altri debutti di altri brani in questo mini tour?

Tagliata la parte dedicata a Rattle And Hum, che fino al terzo spettacolo era stata l’intermezzo fra le due parti di Achtung Baby.
Per questa sera a dividere i due set di brani estratti da Achtung Baby c’erano I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For (con Many Rivers To Cross per snippet) e Pride (In the Name of Love), ancora una volta terminata con uno snippet di MLK.
I due brani e lo snippet di MLK hanno fatto la loro comparsa in questo tour appena ieri sera. Questa sera tagliata fuori anche Angel Of Harlem.
Bono in questa parte dello show, prima di Pride e MLK, ha preso spunto per parlare della guerra in Israele e Gaza, emozionando il pubblico.

In the light of what’s happened in Israel and Gaza, a song about non-violence seems somewhat ridiculous, even laughable, but our prayers have always been for peace and for non-violence…
