E siamo arrivati al gran finale!

Oggi 2 marzo 2024 gli U2 si esibiscono per l’ultimo show sul palco della Sphere di Las Vegas a concludere definitivamente questa loro residency “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere.

Nello show di ieri la presenza di Larry fra il pubblico ha emozionato e dato speranza a tutti i fan degli U2, presenti nella location e non.

Cosa accadrà invece in quest’ultima serata?

Sorpresa nella prima parte della setlist con Daniel Lanois sul palco con la band per One:

A chiudere All I Want is You, Bono intona Yellow (Coldplay), dedicandola all’amico Chris Martin in occasione del suo compleanno.

Torna anche Don’t Dream It’s Over per il gran finale; il brano viene eseguito con Neil Finn a sostegno di Julia Navalnaya e di una Russia libera.

A sorpresa, ma come qualcuno già immaginava o sperava, la chiusura viene affidata a 40.

Il brano fa il suo debutto nella residency e viene eseguito a distanza di 8 anni live: l’ultima volta era stata il 28 novembre 2015 durante l’ultima data delle quattro dell’U2ieTour a Dublino.
