Dopo i primi tre bellissimi ed emozionanti concerti della residency degli U2 “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere”, siamo arrivati alla quarta data di questo mini tour che vede Bono, The Edge e Adam Clayton accompagnati da Bram van den Berg alla batteria, a sostituire momentaneamente Larry Mullen Jr.

Secondo quanto riportato da U2Start.com, gli U2 avrebbero provato nuovi brani, fra cui anche Bad e Pride (In The name OfLove), nelle loro versioni “Songs Of Surrender”. 

Un brano in particolare potrebbe andare a sostituire All I Want is You nella setlist… vedremo cosa accadrà stasera.

Questa sera effettivamente la setlist ha visto alcuni cambiamenti.

L’intera sezione composta dai 4 brani estratti da Rattle And Hum è stata stravolta: I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For (apparsa in precedenza solo come snippet in questo tour) è andata a sostituire All I Want Is You; Pride (In The Name Of Love) è andata a sostituire Desire; infine MLK ha fatto il suo debutto come snippet di Angel Of Harlem, quest’ultima invece saldamente al suo posto in setlist; tagliata fuori oggi anche Love Rescue Me.

Degna di nota la strofa di MLK cantata da Bono: il cantante degli U2 ha modificato il verso finale in “rain down on she”, un riferimento a Billie Holiday, il soggetto di Angel of Harlem.

Per il resto la setlist è rimasta invariata.
